Rev. Jeanette Brodersen

After starting her professional journey as a high school English teacher in her home state of South Dakota, Jeanette moved to Berkeley, California, to pursue a Master of Divinity and ordination at the Pacific School of Religion. Attracted to our congregation’s long history and traditions yet willingness to embrace new and creative ways to seek to be God’s love in Hudson and beyond, Jeanette became our associate minister in 2011 after completing a pastoral residency at Plymouth Church in Des Moines, Iowa. She and her husband, the Rev. Jon Dodson, have one energetic daughter and a cranky Siamese cat. Jeanette enjoys reading historical fiction and baking anything with chocolate.
