Laurence Frese
Laurence came to First Congregational Church in 2012 to work as the custodian and currently serves as the custodial manager.
Laurence has been doing martial arts for almost 40 years. He teaches Sun Taiji, Sun Bagua, Yangs Taiji, Shanxi Hsing-I, a system of offensive and defensive tactics designed for law enforcement called KEW-DO, Judo, Iron Palm, and several old Kung-Fu strength exercises. He also studies Baji, Pikua, MiTsung, Northern Praying Mantis, Hong Kong Wing Chun, Bao Ding Shuai Chiao, Mongolian Shuai Chiao, Jujitsu, Sumo, and was a successful Highschool wrestler. He specializes in throws and takedowns, and is dedicated to preserving Chinese martial arts as systems of fighting, not health.
