Erika Federmann
Erika and her family have lived in Hudson since 1994 and have been a part of First Congregational Church since 2003. Before starting as Director of Communications, Erika worked as the church’s Evangelism Coordinator and Stewardship Coordinator and served on several boards and committees. She’s been on Church Council three times, including serving as Church Moderator. In her current role, Erika is responsible for overseeing all the church’s internal and external communication. She is passionate about sharing the good news and work of FCCH with the congregation and the community. Erika has worked as a communication consultant with a for-profit consulting firm and a development director for a non-profit professional jazz orchestra. She has also been a stay-at-home mom and high school music and drama volunteer. In her free time, Erika and her husband, Walt, enjoy travel (especially anything involving a beach!), entertaining, and spending time with their sons, Hanno (23) and Karsen (21). Erika enjoys the entire spectrum of the performing arts, particularly jazz and musical theater, and believes there is an applicable Stephen Sondheim lyric or song for any situation in life.
