Middle School

We are dedicated to offering youth Christ-Centered opportunities to connect, grow and serve. Students in grades 6-12 have the chance to participate in weekly youth groups and Sunday morning programs, as well numerous service projects and fellowship times throughout the year. Questions? Contact Callie Baylor, Director of Youth Ministries.

Students are invited to come to the Youth Room on the Third Floor of the church every Sunday morning at 9 or 10:30 a.m. Students start out with a large group teaching time. Then they move into an age apparent discussion group to talk about the teaching they just heard in the large group.

  • Wednesday Afternoon: D&D

On Wednesday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. in the Youth Room, our middle school students have their midweek program called D&D. We spend part of D&D talking about and discussing issues that are pertinent to middle school students from a faith perspective. Students also have a chance to eat some grub, play some games and hangout with friends.

  • Pittsburgh Service Project

Our Middle School students have the opportunity to take part in The Pittsburgh Project once a year. The program engages young people in short-term mission experiences within the Pittsburgh area, providing valuable home repair in a transformative setting

On the first Saturday of each month from  9 a.m. - 2 p.m.,  students travel to Gennesaret in downtown Akron to serve a hot lunch to families in need.
