Children's Ministries:

Kindergarten Through Fifth Grade

For more information regarding our children's Sunday programming, please contact Dee Buchanan (Director of Children's Ministries) Liz Yeakley (Director of Children's Ministries), Jen Barden (Associate Director of Children's Christian Ministries) or Callie Baylor (Associate Director of Children's Christian Ministries).

  • WORSHIP & SUNDAY SCHOOL: K - 3rd graders

At both the 8:30 and 10 a.m. services,  kindergarten - third graders should come to the sanctuary and worship with their families through the Children's Message (during the Children's Message, the children gather at the front). On the first Sunday of each month there is no Children's Message during worship, so all children go directly to their Sunday school rooms on the first floor. However, please know that children are always welcome to participate in worship and communion.

Our Sunday School lessons focus on getting to know God and how God is relevant in our children’s lives. One fun theme is offered each month to help develop a deeper understanding of their relationship with God through art, games, music, food and learning. Our goal is to help children learn about the stories of the Bible and relate them to their lives. We hope to give the children a space to spend time with God and learn to use their gifts.

  • CAMP WEDNESDAY - Kindergarten - 5th graders

Camp Wednesday (CW) is our fellowship program for Kindergarten through Fifth Grade children. We meet every Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:30pm for dinner (kid-friendly favorites!), music, crafts, games, and more.

The Camp Wednesday kids share their musical talents during worship about once a month. Students also prepare and perform our annual Christmas Pageant and Spring Musical. Camp Wednesday is a great way for our children to connect with each other and their church on a regular basis. We truly have something for everyone!
