About our Youth Ministry

Youth @ FCCH is an Open and Affirming youth ministry that seeks to meet students wherever they are on their faith journey and give them a community where they are welcome to be unapologetically themselves. Through Service, Community, and Open-mindedness, we seek to create a third space for your student to thrive just as God created them to be.

The &
The "&"

At FCCH Youth, we’re all about relationships and connections. That’s why the ampersand is at the core of our branding. This symbol of connection is a constant reminder of our goal to bring people together.

A Constructive Approach to Faith Formation

Our Youth Ministry takes a constructive focus to faith formation. Rather than teaching a systematic doctrine that should be followed to the letter, we invite students in to wrestle with the core elements of the Christian faith and construct a faith ethic that is true to them, while also being rooted in compassion, justice, respect, and love for self and others.

Core Values

Service Oriented
Service Oriented

Throughout the year, students are given the opportunity to live out their faith through service. Whether its through our monthly trips to Gennesaret Inc., our high school student leader program, or our annual youth mission trips, your student will have a ton of opportunities to serve and find purposeful work!

Community Focused
Community Focused

We strive to build community that welcomes all students with a variety of backgrounds. Whether through faith-based discussion or fun nights out, we hope to be a place where your student finds a sense of belonging.

Open Minded
Open Minded

We never seek to make students conform to a certain set of beliefs. Instead we seek to find out the unique way that God’s light shines through who they are – affirming their identity as a loved, child of God that – like all people – is worthy of dignity and respect.
