Children’s Ministries offers Sunday School offerings every Sunday for all children through 5th grade.
Infants & Toddlers
Child care is available during all of our services (8:30, 10 and 11:25 a.m.). Infants through young toddlers are welcome to join our nursery at any time before or during the service. In the nursery, our youngest children learn Christian values through play. Our nursery caregivers are paid and have undergone background checks to ensure consistency of care and the safety of our children.
Preschoolers & Pre-Kindergarteners
Sunday School is available at our 10 a.m. service every Sunday throughout the year for Preschoolers & Pre-Kindergarteners. Children are welcome to go directly to their Sunday School classrooms (located on the first floor) as soon as they arrive – we will be expecting them. Our preschool Sunday School lessons focus on introducing our children to God, Jesus and important stories of the bible. One fun theme is offered each month with learning through art, games, music, food play and storytelling. We hope to give the children a space to spend time with and develop a relationship with God.
Kindergarteners – Fifth Graders
At our 10 a.m. service, Kindergarteners – fifth graders start their Sunday morning in the sanctuary to worship with their families. Following the second hymn, the children are led by Children’s Ministries staff to the Activity Room (1st floor) for the WAVE (Worship: A Valuable Experience). At the WAVE they learn the message of the day through music, skits, and other interactive fun. Parents meet their children after worship in Fellowship Hall.
Our elementary Sunday School lessons focus on getting to know God and how God is relevant in our children’s lives. One fun theme is offered each month to help develop a deeper understanding of their relationship with God through art, games, music, food and learning. Our goal is to help children learn about the stories of the Bible and relate them to their lives. We hope to give the children a space to spend time with God and learn to use their gifts.
