Spark; Confirmation @ FCCH
At FCCH, 8th graders can participate in our in-depth confirmation program: Spark! Your student will be partnered with an adult mentor from FCCH who will walk with them as they explore questions about their faith, learn about our community at FCCH, & the United Church of Christ. Once a month, the entire class gathers for food, games, and a focused lesson. The goal of Spark is not to tell students what to believe or create more community members, but rather to spark a curiosity in each student that takes them deeper into their faith journey – wherever it may go! We also give tips on how to maximize the experience as parents and mentors, as well as grounding the experience. While this podcast is meant for parents and mentors, anyone can listen and learn more about what our students learn in confirmation at FCCH!
