Handbell Choirs

"And all the bells on Earth shall ring, on Christmas Day, on Christmas Day, And all the bells on earth shall ring on Christmas Day in the morning"

The First Congregational Church Handbell Choirs are made up of people with a desire to make music for the glory of God while having fun ringing handbells. We have five octaves of Schulmerich Handbells, one set of three octave Malmark Choirchimes and one set of two octave Malmark Choirchimes.

Adult Bell Choir

The Adult Handbell Choir rings five octaves of Schulmerich handbells and rehearses on Sunday evenings from 6:45 to 8:00 p.m. from September through May. They play in worship once month and at special services throughout the year. The ability to read music is not required, but is extremely helpful.

High School Bells

This handbell choir is for students in 9th -12th grade. Rehearsals are on Sunday evenings September through May from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. and plays in worship about six times during the year.

Alleluia Ringers

This choir is for students in 6th -8th grade. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 4:40 p.m. and plays in worship about four times during the year.
