Parish Nurse

In conjunction with Laurel Lake, we share a parish nurse with St. Mary’s Church. The parish nurse is a registered nurse who works with our congregation in bringing about health and wellness in the context of our faith. She assists people in assessing their needs and interests concerning their health. The church offers a monthly blood pressure clinic (2nd Sunday of each month after each service). She can assist you in health care decisions, medical billing issues, and directions for general health care. Please feel free to contact Karen Verner at 330-351-3585.

Quilt Ministry

Prayer Quilt Ministry is a ministry begun through our Parish Nursing program to sew quilts for those with health or other personal crisis to surround and comfort that person in prayer. The quilts are blessed by one of the pastors either in Sunday worship, or privately, with the prayer that the person in crisis has requested. To learn more about this ministry, to request a prayer quilt or to offer to sew a quilt contact the Parish Nurse, Karen Verner at 330-351-3585. Quilts may be worked on in a group, or individually.
